My weekend morning routine | V&L x Wantable

Hi babes! Welcome back to Vogue and a Latte.

Today I am bringing you my weekend morning routine thanks to Wantable, the easiest clothing delivery service for unique and trendy pieces.

I love weekends. I get to sleep in, go to workout classes, drink iced lattes, and spend quality time with my friends, exploring Atlanta and trying new places. You know what goes perfect with these plans? Versatile fitness outfits! (from Wantable, of course.)  My mornings during the weekend are one of my favorite parts because slow mornings are my jam. During the week I get up extra early just so I don’t have to rush all around in order to get to the office at a decent hour.

I normally start my mornings checking up on Instagram and making sure I didn’t miss any activity on my feed since staying engaged and up-to-date is kinda my job. I try to make sure that before I open up my phone I take Boston out and read the Bible verse of the day so that my mind is in the right place before heading over to my social feeds.

After I check up on socials and respond to any texts that I have gotten from friends over the night (west coast bff probs), I head to the kitchen to make my morning cup of coffee that often motivates me to get my butt out of bed. I love dark roast with a little bit of dairy free creamer when I am making coffee for myself. After sipping my coffee and enjoying my nice slow morning, I normally open up my computer and do a little social engaging or content planning for the week! During the weekends I try to photograph outfits for my week since I am so busy during the weekdays. I also write up blog posts or edit photos that I haven’t looked at yet.

After I have taken care of business, I get ready for a workout class! As you guys know, I am obsessed with spin class and go 4-5 times a week. On the weekends, if I can, I try to scope out a new workout spot and try it out in order to build on my series that I am releasing very shortly!! It is going to sum up all of the cool new workout spots in ATL that everyone has been dying to try. This past weekend I tried Fit 9 and I am obsessssed. Such a hard work out but so worth it.

I wash my face every morning and take my vitamins for the day before I hit the road for my workout class. Also, an interesting part of my day as a blogger is sharing my outfit. Whether it is in a post, on a story, or even a post about an outfit that I wore that weekend/earlier that week. I looooove my mirror from from Ikea for just this reason! I placed it near my window so that I can have the natural light for my pics. If you look at my Instagram (@MadisonCrowley), you will see mirror pics peppered into my feed because I truly l love this mirror.

After I get back from my workout class, I hop into a less sweaty workout outfit and plan the rest of my day! Wantable makes it SO easy to have lots of different fitness clothes that I can workout in, or just wear around for the weekend. The Wantable process is amazing and SO simple. The first step is taking the Fitness Edit quiz, which took a unique stab at figuring out what my favorite ways to workout were and what pieces I was interested in receiving in my box. I was able to specify that I really like high-waisted leggings and that the sports bras that they were going to send me needed to be extra supportive! They also have a Style Edit that allows you to take a fun quiz and give them a feel for what your style is, and they will send you 7 pieces that they think you will love.

Once you receive your box, you can try on all of the items and decide which items you want to keep! You can sign up for Wantable with 50% off of your styling fee by clicking here!

Items I got in my Wantable box:
– 2 pairs of high-waisted leggings, black and multi-color ( kept the multicolor)
– 2 super supportive sports bras, white and grey (I kept both)
– A white tank top
– A black workout top
– Good Hyouman sweatshirt

Once you’re done and ready to send the other clothes back, you pack it up in the pre-paid envelope they send you in the box and drop it off at your nearest post office! It is that easy. One. Stop. Shop.!!!

Well there yea have it guys, my weekend morning routine including the ease of not having to search through my clothes for the perfect, comfy outfit. I didn’t include the hair/face products that I use in the morning as I figure I can make another post (or even a video!) about this, when I get the chance. Thanks for reading guys!! I would love to hear your feedback on Wantable, if you try it or if you have previously tried it! As always, follow on social media for day-to-day happenings!

‘Til next time,Autumn in November

HUM x V&L

Welcome back to Vogue and a Latte! Happy to have ya here.

Today I am bringing to you one of my favorite new things –> HUM Nutrition Vitamins!! HUM Nutrition is an all-natural line of supplements, powders and gummies that are sustainably sourced, made in the USA, non-GMO and free of soy, gluten, artificial colors, and preservatives, many are organic and vegan… aka my kinda product. They are focused on working from the inside out, as to prevent merely putting a bandaid on a problem and instead learning how to correct problems from the source! I have slowly been becoming a nutrition nut. I care waaaay more about what I put into my body now than I ever have before. As I am getting older, what I eat and put on my body makes a much more noticeable difference now than ever. I have been able to try two of their top selling vitamin combos: Killer Nails and Uber Energy. Both work wonders and absolutely make me want to try all of the vitamins from their extensive list. Some others that really caught my eye ( and ended up in my shopping cart ) are Daily Cleanse, Skinny Bird, Gut Instinct, and Flatter Me. You can find all of their products and read up on their ingredients and features here.

You can scroll to the bottom for a super amazing discount code on your HUM purchase!
You seriously won’t regret it.

With love, Vogue and a Latte.

Hi! Welcome to my new blog: Vogue and a Latte. So glad you stopped by to check it out.

I have been contemplating a blog change for a while now. Forge A Frenzy just didn’t seem to describe me any more.

FaF was a brand new venture for me when I first started. It was stepping out of my comfort zone and trying to be bold in an area that I knew basically nothing about. I was trying to take my love for fashion and my eye for photos and put them all in one place. I didn’t really know how I would fall in love with blogging and how challenged I would be with this new passion. Blogging is not easy folks. Coming up with content, along with living your busy life, is something that takes time and perseverance. For me, that looked like taking my life and molding it into one that I could easily create content from. Combining what I already did/do daily and turning that into what my blog and brand is about.

I am extremely thankful for Forge A Frenzy. And I am extremely thankful that I no longer have to say my blog name and then respond to blank stares by quickly describing how and why I chose my blog name and what it means to me.

V&L is going to have a lot of the same content as Forge A Frenzy, and a lot of new content as well. New topics, new research; posts based on things I want to share and topics you all want to hear about. As per usual, if you clicked through for outfit details, scroll through to “SHOP THE POST” and click on an item that grabs your eye.

Hi, 2018.

2017 has been magical.

The New Year always causes me to stop and examine my life and everything that I have been blessed with. I’ve been trying to write this post for a few days now, and each time I try to write a sentence on how this year encompasses joy, happiness, and peace for me, I fall short. I always say that I can write how I feel, much better than I can say it. This is just not the case for this year. I have met people who have changed my life. I have had experiences that have changed my life. I have had perspectives that changed my life. I have lived in two vibrant and alive places that are filled with people who surround me, support me, and lift me up. They encourage me to be the best version of myself and showed me that I have the potential to be something great.

In 2017 I became the person that I always wanted to be. The person that I always saw when I looked into my early 20’s. And it shocked me. I set goals, and reached them. I saw parts of myself that I didn’t like, and so I changed them.

I learned to love myself. I learned to work harder than I thought possible and enjoy the rewards that come when you do so. I learned about self-control. I learned about budgeting. I learned that being an adult means making hard choices in order to reap benefits in the long run. I also learned that being an adult doesn’t mean that you have it all together. I learned to push past that inner voice telling me that I couldn’t do it.

Whatever “it” may be for you, you can, in fact, do it.

Atlanta On My Mind

Welcome back to Forge A Frenzy!!!

WOW. It has been way too long since I have even had a moment to spare to on my favorite pastime. My life has been up in the air and in the past month has taken so many unexpected turns. I figured I would write a post with updates since everyone has the same questions for me. First off: NO, I am not stopping blogging, I still love it just as much as ever!! New content WILL be back soon!!

I have moved back to Atlanta. This has been a surprise to some, but has been on my mind for a while. California is magical. It holds beauty and beaches and sunshine and palm trees and much more. It is a place where I grew exponentially. Where I learned about myself in ways I didn’t know that I needed to learn. And I loved it there, truly. I think that is something people have been asking me a lot about and I think people feel that I have had a negative experience. That could not be more false. I have made life long friends here. I have made memories I will never forget. And apparently gotten more cheesy. LOL. But a LOT of my heart is in Atlanta. A lot of it. I spent a lot of time in the word and in prayer and seeking guidance for the right path to take. And I know that after spending more time in California, it would begin to feel a lot more like home. But I took a good look at my heart and my thoughts and tried to get to the bottom of where I wanted to be.

Packing Essentials: Atlanta Bound

Hi babes, welcome back to Forge A Frenzy!

Today I am going to be discussing the items I always include when packing and the things that are always on my to-do list before I leave on a trip.

★ Items I always make sure to have:
→ Makeup stock
I love makeup and I tend to go through my favorite products pretty fast, so I always make sure that I have all of my faves stocked up for when I travel. Nothing worse than reaching for your shape tape and realizing it’s out and you don’t have time to run to Sephora before the nights festivities.

→ Travel pack protein + meal replacement shakes
As I am slowly changing my lifestyle to reflect healthy eating habits (emphasis on slowly), replacing a few meals with healthy shakes and replenishing my body with good nutrients after a work out have become CRUCIAL parts of my day. Isagenix products are my FAVE and they come in convenient little pouches with the exact amount of powder you need to pour in your shaker bottle and go. I feel like on the go health is a consistent theme in my life… My favorite flavor is strawberry but during holiday season they have an eggnog flavor that is to DIE for. I also always have almonds or peanuts with me. If I get too hungry, I lose all self-control when it comes to eating so I like having nuts with me as a quick fix until I can get to a healthy option.

→ A physical book or have one downloaded on my iPad
I love watching movies and getting work done in airports, but sometimes it’s nice to just read a freakin’ book. I like using my kindle on my iPad when I don’t have time to go grab a physical copy of the book I want before I leave, but I really love the feeling of having an actual book in my hands. For long travel, a kindle/iPad is more efficient because you can have lots of reading material without taking up a ton of space, but for a week long trip, one book is generally enough for me! Right now I am reading Uninvited by Lysa TerKeurst and it gives me chill bumps almost every chapter. She speaks right into insecurity and how Jesus wants us to feel desired and wanted. It’s a fantastic read.

→ Digestive assistance
I didn’t really know what else to call this… You guys know I have major digestive/stomach problems when it comes to eating and dairy. I am lactose intolerant and potentially intolerant to many other things that I have not yet discovered. Traveling makes this so much worse! I generally eat worse and I drink more alcohol and I am not exercising as much so all of that combined does not lend itself to great digestive health. I asked my God-sister Kelsea for advice on products to use to not experience those problems this trip and she gave me a few options and from those options I purchased a few:

Natural Vitality Natural Calm Anti-Stress Drink (wow that’s a mouthful) – Basically, this is a magnesium supplement that you can put in warm water or in a water bottle when you head out the door to increase magnesium in your body which is suuuuper helpful for good digestion. My favorite blogger, Payton Sartain of Hustle + Halcyon, wrote a whole post on magnesium that I will link here. I like this product because it is super easy to travel with and drink on the go.
▷ Nature’s Way Activated Charcoal Supplement – Charcoal is becoming a very well-known and active ingredient in a lot of drinks/foods and beauty supplies. I will admit I haven’t done THAT much research but I plan on doing a whole post on the benefits of it beyond helping with digestion. It whitens teeth, relieves bloating, removes toxins, clears your skin, I mean I could go on and on. And I will, in a separate post!

Weekend Recap: OC Hikes + Beaches

Hiiiiiii everyone!

It’s Tuesday and it has truly felt like Tuesday today, that’s for dang sure. This past weekend was non-stop. It was fun & full and I pretty much ignored all adult responsibilities for the weekend. I actually hate not being productive on the weekend and getting things done but this weekend I just decided to forget my to-do list and explore!

Lorelei had some friends come into town this weekend so we wanted to do lots of fun Orange County activities. Honestly, I had to remind myself like “oh yea, I live here” for most of the weekend. I am truly blessed to be able to live in such a beautiful place.

On Friday we went to an OC SC game at the new stadium in Irvine, which was a blast! Food truck food and hanging out watching a bunch of hot guys play sports is an exceptional way to spend a Friday evening if you ask me. Lo used to intern for the team and she knew one of the guys playing for the other team so that was super fun! Basically, she spent the whole game answering my soccer questions because I really had zero knowledge before Friday. We headed home after the game because we knew that we had a big day the next day.
