Girls Weekend Getaway: Palm Springs

Hi! Welcome back to Vogue and a Latte! I am super excited to share these photos and spots in Palm Springs, one of the most relaxing places on earth.

I am here to tell you all about my girls weekend in Palm Springs last weekend. It was truly a desert dream with some of my favorite gals (Anna, Kenzie, & Tori)! We all piled into my tiny fiat and headed out to our trendy house in Palm Springs. I am going to be talking a LOT about our perfect Airbnb, that I will link here for you guys to book your future getaways! It was one of the best Airbnb’s that I have ever stayed at. There was a concrete wall surrounding the property and a gate that opened and closed with a code, we felt so safe which is crucial when it is 4 girls staying together. The decor was on point ( the house is actually famous for its design ) and we could have photographed for hours inside the house. Zedd actually shot his most recent lyric video in this house. The outside was the perfect backdrop for our photography dreams. Cacti and desert all around us.

We started at Azúcar, a truly perfect Mexican restaurant with the most perfect interior and a rooftop bar. The lighting, the decor, the food, everything was perfect! They were also super accommodating to my gluten/dairy-free needs, which was wonderful. Everyone LOVED their meals and we said we would 100% go back if we were spending more time there. The margaritas were delicious too.

After we finished eating, we headed to our Airbnb for an afternoon of shooting. We only had about 2 and a half hours until the sun set ( btw — the sun sets WAY to early right now. 4:30???? Come ON ). We shot and changed outfits and shot some more and had the best time. After we were done, we all sat on the couch and devoured chips and guacamole, regaining energy. After that we all got ready and headed to Kings Highway, the restaurant in the Ace Hotel ( one of my favorites!! ) and enjoyed some yummy food and drinks. We walked to the Amigo Room ( also a part of the Ace Hotel ) for a couple more birthday drinks and then called an Uber to the Village Pub where we were the youngest members and had a blast dancing the night away, well, until midnight because we all love our sleep.

The next morning we got up and put on a hint of makeup and went to Arrive Hotel’s breakfast spot Wexler’s where my friends dined on the most delicious looking bagels and cream cheese I have ever seen. If you go to Palm Springs and can eat gluten/dairy, you MUST go here for breakfast.

After breakfast, we stopped at Custom’s Coffee where we chatted with the baristas all about coffee and tea and they took a group photo for us and it was the perfect ending to our mini getaway in Palm Springs. I just looked it up to link the coffee shop and apparently, it has closed within the last 7 days? Very interesting! Well, it is right by the Arrive Hotel if you ever make it to Palm Springs and want to check if it is open! There are tons of other coffee shops in Palm Springs, like Ernest, that will hit the spot if you are in need of some delicious coffee.

After this, we hit the road back to Orange County in order to get things done on Sunday and prep for the week. But we went to some amazing Palm Springs spots and also stayed in the BEST Airbnb, so hopefully, this mini getaway reap helped you plan out your next Palm Springs vacay!

Am I missing any must-see places in Palm Springs?! Let me know in the comments! And as always, follow along on Instagram!

’till next time,
xx Madison
