I’m Back, Y’all.

HI! Happy Monday and welcome back to Forge A Frenzy!

It has been two long weeks since I have last posted and wowza, life has been crazy. I took an unintentional hiatus from Forge A Frenzy over the last two weeks due to two life events: Moving from Newport Beach to Huntington Beach, and a much needed trip to Atlanta to see my dearly missed friends.

All of that being said, life is finally settling back down to normalcy. I am figuring out my new commute to work, unpacking tons of boxes, and scouring Pinterest for room inspiration ideas. And I got a pedicure. Pedicures always put life back on track.

I have two fun looks coming up on Forge A Frenzy, this one and another that will be posted shortly, but after that there are going to be some home/interior posts coming because that is where my hard earned money is going towards these next few weeks. I have slowly but surely been redoing the furnishings in my room and I have some cute DIY’s (that don’t look like DIY’s) that I am going to be tackling. The rest is a mix and match of HomeGoods finds and Target scores. I like to get the best bang for my buck and those two places have really been helping me out.

On top of that, I have tons of new places to add to my Atlanta food + drink guide that I will be summing up in a post as well as adding to my Atlanta Travel Guide page. Such exciting stuff!!!

VERY IMPORTANT ASIDE: There are few things that bother me more than having my hair tie on my wrist in photos but alas, neither my photog nor I noticed that my lovely Emi-Jay hair tie was on my wrist for the majority of the shoot and once we noticed, it was way too late to go back and re-shoot. SO I have chosen to overlook this major pet peeve of mine by linking this very lovely hair accessory in my outfit roundup. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do. MOVING ON.

Now, what you’re here for, this outfit! When I think about blogging and posting looks, I think about inspiring people with the whole outfit (including the hair tie). Occasionally I am focused on one super rad piece, but most of the time I want to give a complete outfit inspiration so that you can take my style in the photos and replicate it with certain pieces you have at home, and add ones that you don’t have from my blog.

When I saw this outfit in my head, I honestly wasn’t sure if it was going to work. Too much edgy mixed with western? But once I put it all together, I fell in love. I am now trying to find a million ways to wear this belt because it has been a wonderful addition to my closet. Shoutout to American Threads for bringing this beauty into my life.

I know that I say often that I am in love with certain pieces or styles. Well, I truly mean it with graphic tees… especially this one. This one has an edgy and flirty vibe, which I love. I threw on a bralette over my bra for this one because I didn’t want to be too scandy, and I still loved it!

For my body type, this style works super well. Accentuating the parts of me that are the smallest. And goodness knows I needed it after eating my way through Atlanta. Vacation eating can really get ya. I learned a lot about myself and my eating habits through this trip, which will make its way into a blog post one of these days.

I also am really into this bag because it looks fancier than it’s price tag. B.P. purses always have my name on them. Thanks, Nordy.

I also got a haircut that I am LOVING. It was definitely time to say goodbye to those 5 inches. Speaking of hair, this week’s product of the week post will be live on Friday and you REALLY don’t want to miss it because it has changed my hair routine. It’s a Bumble and Bumble product that is a must-have in your beauty regime especially if you struggle with volume!!!

I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your Monday and a fabulous rest of the week!

‘Til next time,Autumn in November
