Welcome back to Forge A Frenzy and HAPPY FRIDAY! I have Monday + Tuesday off of next week so this long weekend is going to be relaxing and fun and full of creating.
I cannot believe that the first week of April has come and come. This year has been FLYING by.
Welcome back to Forge A Frenzy, lovelies!!
This week has been slow but somehow full of ups and downs. Sometimes I get in a creative rut and find myself in a place where I am searching for inspiration and drive! When that happens, I normally say a quick prayer and then dive into what I know lights me up; feeds my creativity. And this week, a brainchild was born that I cannot wait to see come to life and to share with you guys. It’s going to be exciting and also press the gas pedal on my goal of empowering people to be bold and feel inspired.
On to this vision of white that is this dress from Nordstrom! In the above photo I feel slightly like a bride or bridesmaid but ya know, I was going for dreamy-flower-desert-goddess and that’s what I got!
Welcome back to FaF! It’s been a little while since my last post because life has been CRAZY. Planning trips, shooting all of the time, working, blogging, eating healthy, social life, the list goes on and on and on! But the great thing about loving what you do is that it never feels like work! Sure there are time when I would really rather not edit 60 photos or reply to 20 emails but with the end goal in mind, it makes it all worth it.
Welcome back and Happy Valentines Day (or Galentines Day in my case)!! I am here to chat about gal-pals and their importance as well as open up about how long distance relationships with your bffs are incredibly hard, but incredibly worth it.
** very important PS at the bottom of this post **
Welcome back to FaF annnnnnd to your next weekend getaway: Napa Valley, and a little bit of San Francisco + LA. This was the perfect girls weekend filled with the yummiest food and wine.
Here’s a detailed look at all of our eats and drinks as well as fun stops and shops throughout the weekend.
*** There is a food + drink roundup at the bottom of the post to sum up our delicious finds ***
Welcome back to Forge A Frenzy and happy hump day!
I have been furiously working to get my photography portion of Forge A Frenzy (@MadisonCrowleyPhotography on Insta) up and running. I have been editing like a crazy woman and finally putting all of my work into one place –> my portfolio page under the photography tab!! It is super exciting for me and I would LOVE to do a shoot for you! I have a ‘details and pricing’ info page under the photography tab as well. I love taking photos and I would be thrilled to take yours.
ANYWAYS back to the topic of this post – 1000 STEPS BEACH IN LAGUNA BEACH. Wow, when we (my little sister, Morgan, and her bff, Cleopatra) wanted to go somewhere close to explore, Laguna Beach was the first thing that came to mind. Only a 20 minute drive from Newport and generally no traffic. P.S. avoid toll roads at all costs. I had seen 1000 Steps Beach on Pinterest very frequently and was curious how to get there and how to get to the place where everyone took the famous (ish) photos.
Last weekend, some friends and I ventured down to San Diego to explore and meet up with some friends who were Airbnb-ing a beach house. The people part definitely didn’t go as planned (real life people really DO do cocaine), but the exploring part was even better than we anticipated.
On our way back the morning after an awesome turned horrible night, we stopped in La Jolla because one of my friends that I was with, Kayla, she rocks, mentioned that she had heard about a store that you could enter and it was like a little gift shop and then you pay $5 to walk down stairs and into a cave! I loooooove caves and secret staircases and hidden gems so this was like music to my ears. We put it in the GPS and headed to La Jolla from Pacific Beach.
On November 1st, my best friend and I drove across the country and created a detailed itinerary for you road-trip loving and adventure seeking humans.
Our East Coast to West Coast itinerary includes Airbnb cities that we loved, road trip jams, and to-die-for burger joints.
Welcome back frenzies <3
Most people would never, ever want to escape Southern California. I am one of those people. But, when you move from your childhood home to a new place, no matter how incredible it is, your heart still longs for familiarity and comfort. I was able to fly back to Georgia for a week for my boyfriend’s graduation where I also got to see some of my very best friends. When I first arrived, one of my bffs from college (weird saying from college because it feels like I was just in college yesterday) picked me up from the airport. We got Starbucks (I have a problem, I’ll admit) (My favorite order right now is The Holiday Spice Flat White, thanks Kels) and headed to the Classic City. We arrived and ate lunch at The Place, which has super yummy southern comfort food. I was feeling gross from traveling overnight so I got a BLT on multigrain bread with a side of fruit but threw in a mimosa because hey, you only live once. Kelsie got their special of the day which was BBQ and even though I don’t like BBQ (I know, it’s a crime), her food still looked delicious.
Happy Tuesday, beauties!
Nostalgia for Atlanta and the majority of my heart that is still there is hitting me in full force.
The weekend before I left, some friends and I visited a super cool place called the Atlanta Prison Farm and it was an adventure for sure. The prison was previously fully functioning during the early 1900’s and has since then been sitting in Atlanta gathering graffiti and urban visitors. In October 2009 the roof caught on fire and left a good portion of the decaying building burnt crisp.
