A Summer Sun-dress

Welcome back lovelies!

Monday’s are always a little rough to start off, which is why I like to start my day off with some tea (Rishi is my current fave) and some Jesus. Pretty much how I like to start off most days, but it makes Monday’s a little bit better.

This past weekend I was able to take a quick break from work + social media and it was immensely refreshing. I am going to do a little recap of my weekend in the mountains later this week! I also have lots of fun ideas for content (like a ‘product of the week’ concept) and new collabs + products to share with you guys that I am super excited about. So staaaaaay tuned.

On to todays look: this super dreamy maxi dress is by The Jetset Diaries from Haute and Borrowed. It’s technically not a sundress, but it is a perfect dress to wear on the beach in the sun. I had so much fun shooting this look with Caroline (Life With Lina) as we galavanted all over the beach trying to get the perfect shots.

I paired it with my go-to neutral stiff brim hat to add completion to the look since jewelry + shoes just didn’t feel right. This dress is perfect for your upcoming beach date or a day trip to Malibu to visit Malibu Farm or any other tasty place from my LA City Guide.

I think the part that I loved most about this dress was the way the fabric felt! So soft and silky and it felt expensive. Which is super nice since it was a part of my Haute and Borrowed box.

Well this week I am looking forward to just getting to chill. The past month has been pretty non-stop and I am excited to get to focus on work and packing up my room as we are preparing to move into our new house! And also trying to contain my excitement about my ATL trip coming up at the end of the month.

The song I can’t seem to get out of my head right now is No Longer Slaves by I AM THEY. I love the line, “my fears were drowned in perfect love”. Such a beautiful word picture of God’s love for us.
