Springtime Pastels x LILY and LAURA

Welcome back to FaF and happy first day of Spring!!!

Daylight savings occurred a couple weekends ago and let me tell you I am feeling the loss of that hour. My body needs 8 hours to function properly/not get sick and I am playing major catch up. Along with catching up on sleep, I am working out like a crazy woman and working on Forge A Frenzy in every spare moment.

THIS WEEKEND: Caroline (of Life With Lina) and I have a super excited Palm Springs getaway planned filled with Coachella and festival inspired wear as festival season is underway. We have partnered with hotels, boutiques, and restaurants to give you guys a dreamy desert experience. We are super excited.

ALSO I am trying something fun and new with this post… scroll to the bottom for more details.

Anyways, on to todays scheduled post.

While the loss of that extra hour is devastating, I love daylight savings because it creates so much more daylight after I get off of work! I can plan shoots after work, beach dates, and feel the freedom of some extra sunlight. I am loving it.

You guys know I am not one for bright colors. I normally steer clear of anything pink and my wardrobe is verrrrrrry neutral. Blacks and grays mostly, so this top was a step out of my comfort zone but since spring is all about happiness and pastels, I figured I would give it a try!

Blogging is hard work, y’all. It takes time, motivation, and perseverance. It goes beyond the blog posts to social media, photography, marketing, and so much more. When brands that you LOVE begin to recognize you and reach out to you, it makes every little bit of that hard work worth it. I have loved LILY and LAURA bracelets since I began working at my little boutique in Athens during school. I loved the unique look of each and every bracelet and how the color combo possibilities were endless. It is so easy to slip on 3 or 4 bracelets to tie in different colors of your outfit or just to make any look complete. They also partner with women in Nepal who hand make every single bracelet in order to provide jobs and security for these women. Boss BABES, people. Women helping women, I am all about it.

When LILY and LAURA reached out to me I was THRILLED to style and photograph some bracelets they sent me. I previously owned three of these bracelets (the bottom 3) and added this new light purple/mauve matte that they sent over to the stack! They sent 3 others, a mix of black and gold, which I styled in my St. Patrick’s Day post and will be adding to my looks this weekend in Palm Springs.

I switched up my necklaces mid shoot to show off this new Mod and Jo spring collection necklace that I am loving! I have another outfit planned to shoot with this necklace, but I really just wanted to show it off! If you want this necklace, or any others from their website, head on over and use the code “FRENZY15” to get 15% off of your order! They are simply wonderful. (My marble cuff and other  super cute necklace are from Mod + Jo as well… seriously, they rock.)

Bell sleeves are IN. Frills and dramatic angles on pieces of clothing are taking over the scene. I have really toned down my saturation spectrum since moving to Southern California and I am loving neutrals, but this shirt really jumped out at me. Also, with the change of my hair, I am leaning towards more minimal outfit choices since my hair now speaks for itself. I bought this silky bell sleeve pastel shirt from Nordstrom! Want to buy this exact shirt? Head to the bottom of this post for details.

These are my go-to beachy white shorts from Joe’s Jeans. I am in major need of new shorts for this summer but until I do a major summer-focused shopping spree, I am going with what I’ve got! I just ordered these white cutoffs online from Nordstrom and I can’t wait until they arrive.

As usual, these are my go-to TOMS wedge booties that you can get here. (They’re on sale!!!!!)

I am going to try something new here… I love shopping and purchasing items that I fall in love with. The problem is that once I photograph it and put it up on Forge A Frenzy, it normally just sits in my closet. I am going to start offering pieces of my outfits for sale on my blog!

To purchase this shirt (brand, Socialite; size Large), worn once for this photoshoot, email me at forgeafrenzy@yahoo.com. I can accept Venmo/Square Cash App/PayPal/Check via mail and will add an additional $5 for shipping. Purchased for $40, selling for $25. I might not do this for very many posts, but just wanted to try something new to see if it works! Email and I will post when it has sold!

Be on the lookout for more spring looks, I can’t wait to dive into spring style!

‘Til next time,
Autumn in November

This post is in partnership with Lily and Laura. As usual, all opinions are 100% my own.
