Girl On The Go x JORD Watches

Welcome back to Forge A Frenzy!

Today’s look is brought to you in partnership with JORD Wooden Watches and there is an awesome giveaway at the bottom of this post! Also, if you clicked on this link just for outfit details, scroll down to the bottom and check out my outfit roundup.

I am a girl on the go. Always. Whether I am heading to work, the gym, or to shop for blog looks, I am always in go mode. There are the occasional days where laziness takes over and I just want to lay in bed and watch Netflix all day. But those are RARE.

When I am on the go there is always something that is on my mind: the time. I am a planner and a scheduler almost to a fault. I love things planned in advance. I like my days to have a schedule. I like consistency. Wearing a watch is KEY to this part of who I am because I absolutely hate being late. JORD Wooden Watches has helped me out with that! JORD carries women’s watches and men’s watches with a unique style and a consistency of excellence. Their Reece style watches that I am sporting with this outfit are the perfect spring accessory to complete any look. It really is just a super cool watch. Their watches feature SWISS movement technology and my particular watch contains a sapphire crystal glass face. I love this mixture of dark sandalwood and golden camphor wood, it gives it versatility to wear with any outfit as well as making it a very unique watch. ALSO the packaging that these watches come with is impeccable! A beautiful wooden box with cleaning pieces and a little drawer to contain them! I was so blown away by their display.

Being on the go also means comfy clothes and shoes that are versatile and can get you from place to place without having to change. Now you all know about my adventure uniform and how I am a major athleisure advocate, but sometimes you need to step it up a notch but still be able to go, go, go.

For example, after meeting up with Caroline from Life With Lina to snap some shots at Fashion Island, we headed straight to the launch party for Babes With Coffee, an amazing new organization based on coffee and helping other women. What is better, honestly? And this outfit was perfect for both temperatures and situations!

Another major part of my life is my Toy Yorkie Poodle puppy, Boston. I decided as a college student, a junior in college at the University of Georgia, that I (along with the help of my then boyfriend) was ready for a puppy. I will do a post on getting a dog in college and what puppy life is like but if you are a college student thinking about getting a dog – DON’T DO IT. I love my Boston with all of my heart but it is a responsibility that no college student needs. That being said, Boston is my favorite jogging buddy, snuggle bug, and blogging pal. I started an Instagram for him a while back (because hello, I’m me) and it somehow got hacked, so I created a new one, @BloggerPup. If you want to see tons of pictures of my cute pup and our adventures, head on over to Instagram and follow Boston!

All of that to say, being on the go means Boston gets left at home a lot if I am super busy and I wanted to change that! Everyone in Southern California brings there dog anywhere they go, literally anywhere, and I wanted to join in on the fun. I had been searching for dog bags/carriers that fit my style and were also made for dogs but I didn’t find any that spoke to me and then one day, my family and I were walking through Nordstrom and my Dad pointed it out to me for Boston and I fell in love with it. This bag by Sole Society from Nordstrom is sturdy enough to carry the contents of my purse as well as my 5 lb pup. It can double as a work bag for my laptop and all of my blogging necessities (planner, pens, chargers, camera, etc.) and it has the perfect amount of pockets. This bag y’all, seriously, it’s a must have for boss babes.

It has been the weirdest weather in SoCal lately. Somedays you need an umbrella and poncho, somedays a heavy jacket and long pants, and then other days shorts and a light long sleeve are too warm for the sunshine. This outfit is a great transitional outfit for spring because of its layers.

My 7 For All Mankind black skinnies have been with me for a while now. They are a trusty pair of 7’s that can be dressed up or down. They are high waisted which is awesome for on the go because they don’t fall down as you’re briskly walking from place to place. I’ve linked a similar pair of 7’s that are not high waisted here. And a high waisted pair by PAIGE here. Normally I’m a Joe’s girl but I decided to switch it up a bit with the links.

This shirt by 4SI3NNA is suuuuuuper fab. It buttons up the front for a little sexy vibe but is is also modest enough to wear anywhere. It is flowy and light and is a great neutral tone.

Sunglasses are a must here in sunny California, even though it has been raining like crazy, the sun has begun to shine and I love it! I got these sunglasses from Jasper Plum but they are not available anymore unfortunately. I have linked similar Ray-Ban’s that I will hopefully be adding to my collection for this summer.

This faux leather jacket was a MAJOR score from Forever 21. I am pretty tall for a girl and that, for me, comes with broad shoulders. Sometimes that means guys jackets, normally size small, fit me well. I found this R-A-D burgundy leather jacket in the mens section, in a size small, for TWELVE DOLLARS. $12 people. I love my designer handbags and free people pieces, but when I can find a steal like this I snatch it up! I have linked a similar men’s style here and a similar women’s colored jacket here.

These Sam Edelman shoes were also an incredible find. On super sale and the only pair, that just happened to be in my size. I had been searching for a shoe to complete this look and this was the one! I love the neutral color that can go with anything but still be somewhat a step up from a normal sneaker. Since they were on major sale, I can’t find them anywhere. I have linked a similar Sam Edelman pair on sale at Nordstrom here.

I think I am going to start listing all of the items from my outfits at the bottom in a neat little area so that if you are searching solely for outfit details, you can scroll right down and find what you are looking for. Sound good?
